Philippine Airlines is officially becoming the 16th member of the oneworld alliance. Full membership is expected in 2027, following the announcement made on June 6, 2026.
Philippine Airlines joins oneworld as only the second Southeast Asian carrier in the alliance, alongside Malaysia Airlines.
You’ll now have access to 31 new destinations, including popular island destinations like Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu.
You’ll also be able to earn Avios on Philippine Airlines flights and enjoy elite status benefits like lounge access and priority boarding across all oneworld carriers once integration completes.

Once Philippine Airlines completes its oneworld integration in 2027, you’ll be able to redeem Avios directly through British Airways Executive Club on flights from Toronto and Vancouver to Manila.
You’ll also be able to connect to plenty of destinations across the Philippines, Asia and beyond.
You can already redeem Avios on Philippine Airlines flights today through Qatar Airways Privilege Club, without having to wait for the full integration.
Simply transfer your British Airways Avios to Qatar Airways at 1:1 and search for Philippine Airlines award flights through Qatar’s booking tool.
There’s been plenty of award availability on Philippine Airlines. That may change once more programs gain access to the same seats, so it might be best to search early.

Philippine Airlines flies nonstop to Manila from Toronto three times a week and daily from Vancouver.
Both routes operate on the Airbus A350-1000, featuring business class, premium economy, and economy cabins.
Business class on the A350-1000 comes with lie-flat seats and direct aisle access.
You can currently redeem Avios through Qatar Airways for business class flights from Vancouver to Manila starting at 110,000 Avios, and economy from 55,000 Avios.
From Toronto, flights start at 154,500 Avios in business class and 60,000 Avios in economy.
Award availability has been very good, mainly from Vancouver. Availability and rates may change once Philippine Airlines is bookable across all oneworld Avios programs in 2027.
