Keep in mind that you are buying points in USD, and you’ll be paying a sales tax on your purchase. The standard price for purchasing Marriott Bonvoy points is 1.25 cents per point (USD).
You can usually buy up to 150,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per year. But with this promotion, you can buy up to 200,000 points and get a total of 280,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. So it’s a great way to stay at higher-end, expensive properties for less.
You’ll need to buy at least 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points to get a 30% points bonus, and at least 40,000 points to get the full 40% points bonus.
Marriott Bonvoy notes that points are usually deposited within 48 hours, but we typically see the points instantly.
