How the Flying Blue Promo Rewards Work
You can save 25% of the required Flying Blue points redemptions in economy, premium economy, and business class flights on selected routes.
This applies to both one-way and round-trip bookings with Air France and KLM.
The monthly Promo Award rates for one-way flights between Canada and Europe can include departures from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary or Edmonton:
Promo Rewards can also include connections within Europe through Paris or Amsterdam.
New Promo Rewards are published on the first day of each month, and you’ll need to book within that month. You’ll usually have up to six months to travel, giving you plenty of flexibility.
And if your home city isn’t included this month, consider repositioning to a promo departure city to take advantage of the savings.
AWP TIP
You can leave your dates blank when you search for flights on the Air France or KLM website (but not the app) to get a full monthly calendar.
You’ll see all available dates across a monthly calendar all at once, to easily spot Promo Reward rates.
Last summer, we were planning a trip to Portugal and found Promo Rewards to Lisbon via Paris on Air France.
We transferred points from our American Express Rewards cards and booked two one-way business-class seats via Paris for just 45,000 points each.
It was an incredible deal and one of our favourite Flying Blue redemptions so far.
