There are five tiers: 25K, 35K, 50K, 75K, and Super Elite.
You qualify each year based on Status Qualifying Credits (SQC) earned through spending on Air Canada flights, partner activity, and Aeroplan® credit card purchases.
A great feature of the Aeroplan® program is that you don’t need to fly often to reach 25K Aeroplan® Elite Status. With Everyday Status Qualification (EDQ), you can earn 25K Status just by collecting 100,000 qualifying points in a calendar year.
The higher your status, the more benefits you’ll enjoy. You’ll get priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling, along with access to preferred seats at check-in, and eUpgrades. 50K Elite status and above also enjoy Maple Leaf lounge access.
