Aeroplan® Elite Status
Aeroplan® Elite Status rewards members with valuable benefits across five tiers.
You qualify each year by meeting three requirements:
Here’s what you’ll need each year to qualify:
A great feature of the Aeroplan® program is that you don’t need to fly often to reach 25 K Aeroplan® Elite Status.
With Everyday Status Qualification (EDQ), you can earn 25K Status by earning 100,000 qualifying points in a calendar year.
You’ll earn EDQ points from Aeroplan® partners, Air Canada® flights, and most of all your Aeroplan® credit card. Each eligible point you earn with your Aeroplan® credit card counts as one EDQ point.
AWP TIP
Changes are coming to how you qualify for Aeroplan® Elite Status as of January 1, 2026.
The program will shift from distance-based to spending-based qualification for Air Canada flights.
